snippet: Data was gathered from asbuilts. See 2.5 - file lineage for details of process. The id number in the coverage is associated with a record in the abandoned lines database which is found in Engineering's database 'tree'. The database gives information like scanned images of asbuilts where line was abandoned, upstream and downstream node numbers, year of abandonment, ete. The Data is used by Maintenance people who mark where City of Eugene facilities are and grant facilities permits to various agencies. It is also used by Engineering people in their construction plan preparation.Limitations -if we happened to find other agency abandoned lines, we added them, but this is by no means a complete list of their data. Our focus was sanitary and storm infrastructure.
